In workshop you concentrate in one theme for 90 mins. We have different types of workshops; some action-based and some theoretical. At workshop time we also have a smaller playback theatre performance. There is no interpretation to Finnish in English workshops. Workshop choices will be made in registration on Friday starting at 15.00. Some updates are still coming.

Työpajassa keskitytään yhteen teemaan 90 min. Osa työpajoista on toiminnallisia ja osa teoreettisia. Työryhmäaikoina meillä on myös pienempiä tarinateatteriesityksiä. Tässä työpajalista tällä hetkellä. Suomenkielisissä työpajoissa ei ole tulkkausta englantiin. Työpajavalinnat tehdään ilmoittautumisen yhteydessä perjantaina klo 15 alkaen. Muutamia päivityksiä vielä tulossa.

Myskihärät Lauantai 13.8.2016 klo 13.30-15.00
Myskihärät on kahdesta muusikosta ja yhdestä ohjaajasta koostuva kokeellinen tarinateatteritrio, joka on kehittänyt omia tekniikoitaan tarinateatteriin. Vaikka ryhmä on suhteellisen nuori, ovat ryhmän jäsenet tehneet yhdessä tarinateatteria jo vuosikausia. Heidän ensiesiintymisensä tapahtui Tarinateatterin kesätapaamisessa 2014, kun Tarinateatteri Actsistä ei päässyt yhtäkään näyttelijää keikalle. Jori, Otto ja Mikael kehittivät oman tarinateatterikonseptinsa, johon liittyy musiikkia, lauluja, runoja ja paljon improvisaatiota.

Untold stories of the Big World
Our world is very big and consist of a large number of stories, big and small, short and long in life. During performances we hear a lot of stories and by them we’re drawing up a map of our World. What stories are easier to tell? What kind of stories do we hear more often? And what stories are still staying in a shadow? Untold stories – they exist! And if we hear them, if we helps to give a voice to them, how then our map of the world change? What kind of stories, feelings, thoughts and facts of our lives are not heard and untold? We believe that all stories are important, and each story can be heard. Each untold story, that came out of shadows, makes our world bigger, fuller and connections with each other stronger.
About the New Jazz playback-theatre
Our group exists of 12 members: 10 actors and 2 musicians Most of us had studied in playback course in Russia with Jozef Parady. We had a big transformations in the group , changed name, but the heart of our New Jazz always continues to be together.
We really appreciate that Playback brings people together. Breathe together, feel together, give space to one another and to our differences.
We perform 2-3 or more times per month. We play open performances and performances for special audience: for business companies, for non-governmental and charity organizations and their clients, for parents of children with disabilities, for specialists and volunteers, working with orphans, with children with cancer.
